05 Sorting office rules

Spam gets
returned to sender.

Five layers, cheapest first. Most bots fall at the first one. The rest never make it to your inbox or your Discord.

Honeypot
A hidden field only bots fill in. Fill it, and you’re out. Costs your real visitors nothing.

Rate limits & blocklists
10 a minute per visitor, per form. Repeat offenders get blocked by hashed IP, never stored raw.

Heuristics
Link-stuffing, known spam phrases, throwaway email domains, keyboard-mash gibberish.

Turnstile challenge
Borderline? The visitor gets a quick Cloudflare Turnstile check on our page. No puzzles about traffic lights.

Optional. Runs after we store the submission, so it never slows anyone down.

We don’t delete spam straight away. It sits in your spam folder for 30 days, and one click on “Not spam” delivers it as normal.
